I have an HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible with the plugged in, not charging problem. This PC has a non-removeable battery. I have tried unistalling both the battery and adapter using the device manager, unplugged the adapter, both from the PC and wall socket, then shut down the PC. Waited 5 minutes, the plugged in the adapter and restarted the PC. HP Probook 5330m; Win7 Pro, SP1. (NOT updated, btw.) Have had this problem for over two years. First time it happened was when I was in England on a research trip and using the computer on battery at the British Library for lengthy periods of time (not something I normally need to do).
